The RGBS summer instructional sessions are not your typical "camp". These instructional sessions are designed to teach high level play at every position on the diamond. In these small group (max 12 for INF and max 15 for OF) position specific sessions students learn to play the particular position for which the are signed up. Over the course of each session we start from the ground and build upwards, learning the techniques and nuances of each position which will give the serious player a great foundation on which to build. Things such as the 6 F's of fielding, double play turns, cut-offs/relays, drop steps, one hand catching and everything in between will be taught. These high energy sessions are both demanding and rewarding for the students. Demanding because of the level of expectation that has to be met and rewarding because of reaching those expectations. Sessions will run 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. each day and each day we will have a word of the day that students will have to present to the class and parents. At the end of the session students will have to present, to the class and parents, one thing they learned and one thing they will work on and then as a group we will tie the daily words together and talk about how they relate to not only baseball but life. If you are a serious player and have a desire to learn at a high level, Rusty Greer Baseball School should be your number one choice.
